What you get
The signature pose
Your pet lies on a faceted golden floor against angular blue and green planes. Strong silhouettes and distinctive markings come through best. Every style has one signature pose, and your pet keeps their own face, coat and markings.
Photos that work best
A full-body photo with a clear outline, plus a face close-up. Distinctive patches and colors help the abstraction stay recognizable. Three to five sharp photos at your pet's eye level, without filters, give us the most to work with.
Frames that suit it
The Classic natural oak or deep matte black suit the modern look. Canvas works well too, since the style is all flat color. Every print comes as a 4:5 rectangle, in portrait or landscape, or as a square.
Questions about the Cubist style
Will it still look like my pet?
Yes. We keep your pet's coat colors, markings and overall shape, then abstract them. Re-roll the free preview until the balance feels right.
Is this the same as a cartoon style?
No. It is closer to early modern art than to illustration: flat planes, dark outlines and visible brushwork, with no soft shading.
How does the free preview work?
Upload your photos and we render two watermarked previews free. After that, extra previews are $5 each and the full amount is credited toward your order.
What if it doesn't look like my pet?
Re-roll the preview before you buy. If a print arrives and you are not happy, tell us within 30 days and we will redo or refund it.
