Charcoal pet portrait on warm cream paper
A fine-art charcoal sketch on warm cream paper: gestural strokes, smudged shadows and crisp dark eyes, fading out softly at the edges. Quiet and soulful, and often chosen as a memorial.

What you get
The signature pose
A head-and-shoulders bust in three-quarter view, head turned slightly and gaze resting off to one side. It suits quiet, soulful portraits and framed gifts. Every style has one signature pose, and your pet keeps their own face, coat and markings.
Photos that work best
A clear face photo plus a side profile. One good photo can be enough for a pet who has passed. Three to five sharp photos at your pet's eye level, without filters, give us the most to work with.
Frames that suit it
The Classic natural oak or white frame with a white mat is the classic choice. The Gallery black and gold gives it more presence. Every print comes as a 4:5 rectangle, in portrait or landscape, or as a square.
Questions about the Charcoal Study style
Is it a good memorial gift?
It is the style people choose most often for a pet who has passed. One clear photo can be enough, and we check every portrait before it prints.
Is it drawn by hand?
No. It is rendered to look like a charcoal study on paper, and printed on archival fine-art paper.
How does the free preview work?
Upload your photos and we render two watermarked previews free. After that, extra previews are $5 each and the full amount is credited toward your order.
What if it doesn't look like my pet?
Re-roll the preview before you buy. If a print arrives and you are not happy, tell us within 30 days and we will redo or refund it.
